We had a great Labor Day weekend...both Daniel and I have been looking forward to it for a long time. His grandparents live half the year up in the mountains close to the TN and GA boarder, about 4 hours away from Charlotte, and half the year in Florida. Honestly, the last time we went to the mountains to visit them was just a few months after Daniel and I started dating...2 years ago! I guess most of our visits with his grandparents have been here in Charlotte or in Florida the last 2 years. Anyway, we had a great time of relaxing and doing nothing...exactly what we wanted it to be. The great thing about it too was that Daniel's brother, Jonathan and his family spent the weekend up at Grandma and Grandpa's as well! It was a lot of fun.
Uncle Daniel and Emma...2 weekends in a row with Emma...it was fun!
G&G's property in the mountains has a creek that runs along side of it. It was so relaxing reading down by the creek, listening to the water run over the rocks and playing in it like little kids!
