Field Trip day

Oh how I love field trip days...they are just few and far between! :) Today we went to Hunter Farm which is just a wonderful little farm that is perfect for little kindergartners. They took us on a hay ride to the barn where they taught us about Gracie, the milk cow, and let us feed sheep, goats, bunnies, and all kinds of other animals. At the end the kids got to pick out a small little pumpkin to take home! It was a fun day...and if you live in Charlotte with little ones you definitely need to take them there! My school day ended with parent teacher conferences (I have them every day this week + report cards)...but tonight we had a great time and went to hear Shawn McDonald, one of our favorite artists!
