Crowders Mtn

After, what seemed to be, a very LONG week, we decided that we needed to get out and relax a little today. It was an amazingly, beautiful Fall day today in Charlotte...the sun was shinning, the wind was cool, and it was a day to be outside. So we called our friends, Jami & Zack and they agreed that we needed to do a little hike out at Crowder's Mountain. Jami's college roomie, Colleen, just moved to Charlotte a few weeks ago so she came as well to see the sights!

One of the greatest things about living in Charlotte is you can leave the urban city and be in the beautiful country in 30 minutes. I LOVE it. Here are our pictures from the afternoon!

This is how it was the whole way up...guys in front talking, girls behind talking! It was a straight hike up!

The view at the top! You can't see it in the picture, but we could see the Charlotte skyline in the horizon! Too bad the leaves aren't changing yet here...we will have to head back up when they are at their peak!

How fun - it looks like it will be GORGEOUS when the leaves change - you'll have to do it again!
