So you may have wondered where i have been the last few weeks, or maybe you haven't, which is okay too...the last few weeks have been so fun but very busy!
My dad, step-mom and step-brother came for a visit 2 weekends ago. We had a great time of showing them the sites around town, we took the boat out on the lake, had dinners and showed them off to our friends at church. It was a great weekend. My dad accidently took my camera home with him so that is also part of the reason I haven't blogged...sometimes I feel like my blogs are incomplete without pictures to back up my written experience. No worries...the camera is safe and sound and is planning on being back in Charlotte soon.
Last week was my last week working at the preschool...I cleaned and packed up my classroom. I have this week off from work and start working at the Children's Theatre of Charlotte next Monday! I am super excited and have had a great time planning and meeting some of the other summer teachers. Everyone is so nice and helpful at the Theatre.
This past weekend was also another eventful weekend. Our friends that live across the hall, Erin and Russ, were married down in Beaufort, SC. So we headed down with another couple and made a whole weekend out of it. Beaufort is a charming little town located down near Hilton Head. We had a great time hanging out, going to a winery, checking out the wonderful beach and, of course, the amazing wedding! This was probably the most beautiful wedding that I had ever seen...there were so many details that were added in...just beautiful...and the southern food (i.e. shrimp and grits and all the fixins') was awesome!!
We returned back yesterday, Sunday, just in time for our small group's cook out at Tony and Becky's house...we had a ball with everyone! There is nothing like hanging out with good friends!!
So, now its Monday and with no work to report too, I am facing down a "to do" list a mile long...I better get working!

Girl leave your to-do list on the counter and come help me pack up my classroom. I know you didn't get enough of it with yours! I am moving to a new room next year so it is going to SUCK doing that clean up. Should I pencil you in for a shift on Wednesday or Thursday :)
You HAVE been busy - what fun weekends you've had! I love going to weddings - doesn't it make you relive yours all over again? Someone has an anniversary coming up missy...get your cake ready! :)
jamie! so fun that you guys might be moving to malawi. you should go!!! sometimes i regret not doing anything like that before we had kids. cause...you never get that time back and it would be such a neat oppurtunity. and if you did go, you would have to hook up with my sponsor child. she is SO adorable!
