Happy Saturday!

ahhhhh....it is finally Saturday! It has been a very long and exhausting week for me. As I reported before I started my summer job as a Teaching Artist at the Children's Theatre of Charlotte 2 weeks ago...this week, however, was my first week teaching by myself and the first week that I have worked two camps (preschoolers in the morning and primary students in the afternoon). It was a wonderful week, don't get me wrong, but tiring! I think that I am more tired just from the perspective of starting a new job and meeting new people, making sure I am doing what I am suppose to do, etc. The themes for each camp is different...next week its "Treasure Hunt" argh, mateys...its going to be talk-like-a-pirate week!! I'm sure I will have lots of interesting stories.

Last weekend was fun too...Daniel was out of town in NYC last week and then stayed for the weekend to hang out with his friend, Omer. And Megan came into town to visit with me all weekend. We had a great time...after visiting the Farmer's Market we tried out hand at making home-made strawberry preserves. Too bad Daniel took the camera to NYC because it was quite a sight!

I am not sure if I have mentioned it on my blog or not but I am also smack-dab in the middle of finishing my final classes at the local community college. I am doing EDU classes. Two of my classes are online and the other one I have to attend on Tuesday and Thursday nights. So the classes are keeping me quite busy as well. Thursday night while I was in class Daniel finished painting the bathroom. We are pleased wit how it turned out...its like a blue/gray color though it looks more blue in the pictures because of the sunlight blaring in through the windows. I wanted to post a few pictures since my blog has been absent of pictures lately. The bathroom isn't quite decorated but it looks so much better with paint, and I love how the paint has complimented the tile colors of the floor and cabinets.

The bathroom looks great. Believe it or not I just got a similar color to repaint my bathroom. I don't know when I'll have time, but at least I've got the paint now. Is that the stained glass window that used to hang in our Bramble Ridge apt?? I loved that thing. Didn't you get it from your dad??

It looks great Jamie! My bedroom is a very similar color. Very calm, but I like it better as a bathroom color. Unfort, with the high ceilings I will NEVER get my husband to repaint our room!
