a quick trip

my older brother, jeremy, works for united airlines (and my mom and teresa too) so he met me plane-side and wisked me away down the tarmac to his office. when he got to the plane at the gate he found me waving at him from my seat and took this pic. i asked him why he had his camera and he said so he could take some pics of me for my blog--always thinking ahead, jerm always thinking ahead.

me, anna and bella.

auntie getting some sweet love from her anna.

here is baby belle-belle.

look at me, auntie, i'm a big girl sitting in my bumbo seat.

sophia and her girls.

two of my brothers and i (look how they tower me) jeremy to the left and justin to the right (sorry, just, not the best pic but the only one we took of the 3 of us)

the guests of honor--teresa and jeremy

me and my sister in laws--sophia and teresa.

i decided this week to take a quick trip to d.c. to visit my family and to attend the baby shower for my brother, jeremy and his fiancee, teresa, that are expecting their little girl March 2nd. we are so excited to welcome another little girl into the family. though it was really, really early i was so happy to hop the 6am flight to dulles and spend the day with my sister in law, sophia, and my nieces, anna and bella. anna is 2 1/2 (she will proudly tell you) and baby belle-belle is 3 months. they are so much fun! i can't get enough kisses and hugs from them.

we had a great time at the shower for jeremy and teresa and are very proud of their new place and happy for all the parenting goodies that they accumilated this weekend for baby chloe.

i hopped the 10pm flight and daniel met me at the airport on saturday night. now i am the one home alone--daniel left about an hour ago to go snowboarding for a few days in Tahoe with his brother, Tim. this is the longest that we have been apart (bring married) but i'd rather him go and have fun then be away for 4 days on business...plus i have the bed to myself for a few nights of undisturbed sleep. (just kidding, babe, if you read this.)

james, you've been busy. sounds like fun and how cool to have your picture taken in the window of a plane -- talented brother!

Being an aunt is just the best. What sweet little neices, it will be fun to add one more to love!! Looks like a fun day with your family. It's nice that you could be there with them, even if it was a quick trip! Hope Daniel has fun in the snow. My hubby's going skiing this coming weekend, but he's not allowed to travel more than 2 hours away...since the baby is coming soon!
