right when daniel and i started dating he moved into the condo that we live in now here in the city. it was new construction and so the walls were and are still "painter's white"...the whole house is still "painter's white". he never painted because he wanted me to be able to pick the colors that i wanted. (ah, isn't that sweet?) and so, here we are...getting ready to paint on a long, cold, holiday weekend. it should be a great ol' time...stay tuned to future pics.
we picked and purchased our color for our living room. the color is a khaki/taupe color...called "eternity". there really are so many shades of color to choose from even in just one color family. i didn't want anything too bold or dark since we live in a condo, but there were still so many colors and choices. its really a bit overwhelming so i just started looking at the color names and picked the one shade that i thought sounded the best...who wouldn't want the color "eternity" on their walls? ha. i just wished that they had paint color that smelled like the name or i would have picked "toasted marshmellow" or "cup of cocoa"...mmmmm...wouldn't that be the best if your walls constantly smelled like the name of the paint? i think i have something here, girls. watch out benjamin moore...

You go girl!! We LOVE to paint!! Really, it's thanks to David. We rented the first few years we were married, and so when we bought our first house, David declared that we would have NO white walls in our home!!! We've stuck with that rule too - it's so fun! He's much more daring and confident than I - he always says "it's only a can of paint!!" It's always easy to repaint if it's terrible, but we haven't struck out yet! Good luck!!
Have fun... your whole place will seem more like your own after you paint. I'm excited to see pictures!
Good luck with the painting. Can't wait to see pics.
Hey... this is more of a request than a comment, but since I don't think I have your email, this will have to do. Go to this blog (thewilliamsfam.blogspot.com) and tell me that they went to LU. I'm trying to remember if they did and if she sang on Sounds or another singing team. Do you remember them? They are actually going to our church now and living in Raleigh!
