i'm not sure how i managed it but i NEVER have put up a christmas tree in my adult life until this year....all those years of being single and not even a tree. the reason wasn't for anything special just never did...i did have christmas ornaments though and now they are proudly displayed on "our" tree this year! i actually thought that i would have to spend a lot of money on it this year but we are keeping it simple as we know we will probably accumilate many things through the years. i LOVE coming home and plugging in the tree...i love the ambiance and if i had it my way we would have a tree up all year long!

I love turning out the lights and just having the tree lit!! It really puts you in the Christmas spirit. Your tree looks great!! We have slowly started to accumulate lighted garlands and trees all over the house and I always think it looks so plain when we take it all down.
How exciting. First Christmas tree. It looks great. I always hit the stores after Christmas and rack up on stuff for thenext year!!
first tree is always the best!!! our first year we only had burgundy bows and little gold balls from the dollar store, but it was SO special!
