for those of you that don't know, after a few years of putting it off i am back in school and finishing my undergrad via liberty university. (i had no shame getting the school discount at the movies last night either.) i had put it off for several years because i was travelling overseas and working too much and then i couldn't afford it while i was working in the ministry, etc. so this year with the help of my ever-loving, patient and encouraging husband, i enrolled back into the program and put a plan together to finish this task once and for all. i should be done hopefully by june with all my classes. the goal is to get that diploma and hang it proudly next to daniels. that will be the day.
so, last night i finished my first of eight classes that i have left. one down--seven to go.

girl you use that movie discount... see if you can get a discount on a full set of acrylics too -- that's all the rage in Raleigh: discounts at nail salons for students. It could be an all-new Jamie.
I'm so proud of you!!! Just think...your diploma can have your new last name on it...so it really will match Daniels!! Kudos to Daniel for being such an encouragement!! I may be a teacher at heart, but I find it hard to get motivated to go back to school. I started my masters (only 3 classes) and then I got married and that was the end of it. Maybe one day...

Definitely take advantage of the school discount!! :) When I got married, I had 4 left that I had to finish through EDP. I had to do them right away or I knew I'd never do it!! I did it, and my diploma reads "Katy Elizabeth Maxfield Schrodt" - I wanted to make sure that Katy Maxfield did graduate from LU! :)
I think it is great you are going to school. You and Dan will be classmates beginning in January. He is also signed up for Liberty to finish his undergrad and we know he is way older than you! Love and miss you tons! Hope to make it your way soon.
