what is it about pumpkins that just warms my heart? today is october 1st and we didn't waste any time to make a trip to the pumpkin patch. i love this time of year and was so excited today to go on my first field trip with my preschool class and a few other classes from our preschool. all the kids (and teachers) got to pick out their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and go on a hay ride to the petting zoo part of the farm. it was a ton of fun to watch the kids enjoy riding the tractor and petting/feeding the adorable animals...at least i think they are adorable from a distance, i'm not one for petting them. when i see goats i am reminded of the ones on the orphanage grounds in india that had two different colored eyes and long horns...i thought it was possessed. ha ha...i stay away from them still. it is definetly time for pumpkins and everything related to the fall season...and soon thanksgiving will be around the corner.

Hi Jamie. I love this blogging. I wish I would sit down and do that. I like your pictures from the pumpkin patch. Cute.
I didn't know you were teaching pre-school! Wish we were closer and you could be Mariah's teacher :) I know I owe you a phone call...a long one :) love ya.
